Despite mounting pressure, the 25-year-old refused to budge on his position, and insisted on sitting out on the bench at Parc Des Princes until his contract expires.
However, the row has finally subsided with both sides settling their scores in closed door talks before the Real Madrid target resumed action.
Since the fallout, Mbappe ‘s transfer future at PSG has been on the radar with speculations he is ready to leave the club as free agent as he earlier planned.

Now, according to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, carried by the Sun, Kylian Mbappe has agreed a move to Real Madrid, and will join the club as a free agent when his PSG contract expires at the end of the season.
The move will crown Real Madrid’s long time effort to snap the prolific striker from PSG since 2021. Mbappe has been a long time admirer of Real Madrid and has dreamed of playing for the club.
However, he was tied down to a lucrative new three-year contract with PSG in 2021 in a blow to Real Madrid’s interest.
Now, the French striker is finally set to relish his dreams of moving to the Bernabeu and taking up the exciting new challenge.
