Chelsea and Wolves locked horns in a rollercoaster Premier League Matchday 23 clash at Stamford Bridge, LCSoccerHub Reports.
It was a cracker as the two teams went into the game on the back of defeats in their last Premier League games.
Chelsea suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Premier League title hopefuls Liverpool while Wolves stumbled to a narrow 4-3 defeat at home to Manchester United.
Both Gary O’Neil and Mauricio Pochettino needed a reprieve by returning to winning ways at Stamford Bridge.
Galvanizing on their home advantage, Chelsea started the game with a blast, winning duels, breaking on rapid offensives, and dominating proceedings as well. It was just a matter of time before the Blues took the lead.
19 minutes into the game, Moises Caicedo teed up Cole Palmer at the back post with a nice through-ball. Palmer rushed in and effortlessly slot it into the back of the net with a first-time right-footed finish.

Wolves responded quickly in the 22nd minute with Matheus Cunha firing a deflected shot into the net to make it 1-1.
After the equaliser, Chelsea returned to their dominant sail but were struggling to patch up gaping holes in their defense when coming under counter-offensives from Wolves.
Two minutes before the break, Axel Disasi scored a ludicrous own goal to give Wolves a surprise lead.
With another shocking defeat staring the Blues in the face in front of their home fans, they needed a prompt response in the final 45 to overturn the game.
Wolves fell back to defend the lead as the second half kicked off with Chelsea holding a commanding sway over proceedings.
Against the run of play in the 63rd minute, Matheus Cunha dealt a big blow to Chelsea comeback hopes as he scored again to bag his brace and extend the lead.
In the 82nd minute, Chelsea were dealt another blow again as they conceded a spot-kick which was converted by Cunha to make it 4-1. Thiago Silva cut down the goal arrears with an 86th-minute goal.
It ended in a shock 4-2 defeat for Chelsea as Wolves held on to grab an unlikely three points at Stamford Bridge, thanks to Matheus Cunha’s hat-trick.
