Florian Wirtz has stoked conversation on his Bayer Leverkusen future as he talks about his ‘plan’ with the Bundesliga outfit.
The prolific German midfielder has been in red-hot form for Bayer Leverkusen in their all-conquering campaign this season.
Top European clubs have been milling around the player following his standout campaign with Leverkusen. Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City, including Liverpool, are some of the top clubs linked with a move for Wirtz.
The German midfielder has contract with Bayer Leverkusen till 2027 but is facing an uncertain future at the Bay Arena due to multiple interests from other clubs.

Speaking on international duty with Germany national in the ongoing international break, Florian Wirtz added a layer of intrigue to his Bayer Leverkusen future as he addressed reports of a potential summer exit from the club.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, the 20-year-old reiterated he has his plans but is focused on the national team.
“My focus these days is on the national team. And after that, I still have a lot of plans with Bayer Leverkusen”.

Wirtz has been sensational for Bayer Leverkusen and has been at the heart of the club’s brilliant domestic and European campaign this season.
He has scored 7 Bundesliga goals with 10 assists for the club, including 4 Europa League giants with 3 assists.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Wirtz is more likely to continue with Bayer Leverkusen next season. However, a transfer exit is not ruled out should the club receive a tempting offer from suitors.
