Bayern Munich have confirmed update on Harry Kane’s injury situation following an assessment of the injury by the club.
Harry Kane had his history-making day against Darmstadt marred with a gruesome injury blow that forced him out of the game with barely 10 minutes left on the clock.
The England international had tried to poke home a close attempt which bounced off the Darmstadt crossbar but ended up colliding with the goalpost.
He twisted his ankle in the process and was struggling in the throes of pain before being attended to by Bayern medics.
After a quick treatment on the field, he had to be helped off the pitch with Thomas Tuchel subbing him off.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund expressed worry over the injury blow, adding the club had to be cautious in handling the injury to prevent complications.
Hence, the football chief said the club will not take any chances by allowing Kane join the England national team for March international break pending the outcome a medical assessment.
Now, Bayern Munich have assessed the injury and confirmed that Kane sustained an injury to his left ankle but he will be allowed to join the England national team for March international break.
The Bavarians club statement reads;
“Harry Kane has. sustained an injury to his left ankle. “The striker has traveled to the national team, where. he will be treated in close coordination with the club”
It is yet to be determined whether Kane will recover in time to feature for the Three Lions in their double-header friendlies against Brazil on March 23 and Belgium on March 26.
But it has been established he will join the squad against previous reports that he may not due to the injury.
