Thibaut Courtois, the Belgian shot-stopper, is nearing his return to action for Real Madrid after a long injury layoff, as per Marca.
The former Chelsea keeper suffered a serious knee injury before the start of the La Liga season, forcing Carlo Ancelotti to rotate between different options in goal.
But Courtois is making good progress in his recovery, and he is back on the pitch at Valdebebas, where he is working on his fitness, agility and confidence.
Marca reports that Real Madrid are not rushing him back, and they are following his rehabilitation plan carefully. They have even told him to take it easy and not risk any setbacks.

Courtois’ comeback could be a huge boost for Real Madrid, who have missed his presence and quality in goal. He was widely regarded as one of the best keepers in the world before his injury, and he could make a difference in their Champions League campaign.
If Real Madrid can overcome RB Leipzig in the last 16, they could have Courtois back in time for the quarter-finals, which are scheduled for early April. The first leg will be on the 9th or 10th, and the second leg will be a week later, around the time Courtois is expected to be fully fit.
