Manchester United have gotten back to gear in their pursuit of a top-four finish as record another successive Premier League win over West Ham United at Old Trafford, LCSoccerHub Reports.
The Red Devils needed a late Kobbie Mainoo magic in mid-week to edge out Wolves at the Molineux and were hoping to continue on the winning lane taking on David Moyes’ West Ham at the Stretford End.
Manchester United started with a dominant display against the visitors but it was largely an open game with both teams making incisive attacking attempts.
United had more of the ball as they leveraged the 12th-man fans at the Stadium to lord up proceedings over the Hammers. It was still barren as both sides wrestled to find the back of the net.
United fired 10 shots with 3 on target before the break while West Ham United recorded 14 attempts with 4 on target.
In the 23rd minute, Rasmus Hojlund scored his third Premier League goal for Manchester United, netting a brilliant finish from Casemiro’s assist to give United the lead.
West Ham ramped up attempts to find an equaliser but could not unruffle United’s compact defense.
At the break, it ended 1-0 in favor of the hosts but West Ham were still showing signs of a comeback with a promising offensives.

Manchester United started the second half with a blast as well. The Red Devils edged close to victory as Alejandro Garnacho scored two minutes into the final 45 to double the lead.
A defeat for the Hammers was looming large as they failed to impress on attacks and struggled to wear down United’s backline.
United were still leading with 15 minutes left to play. At this point, David Moyes needed more of a magical performance to overturn the game.
The game continued with Manchester United holding on to the lead while West Ham blunder on the attack. In the 84th minute, Garnacho scored again to bag his brace as United ran out with a 3-0 victory after the final whistle.
