2023 FIFA Award: Aitana Bonmati Wins Best Women’s Player Of The Year

Barcelona and Spain star Aitana Bonmati has won FIFA Best Women’s Player of The Year, LCSoccerHub Reports

Aitana Bonmati ran a world-conquering campaign in 2023 for club and country. The Spanish attacking midfielder ruled her game with Barcelona Femeni and Spain women’s national team.

Bonmati starred for Spain in their triumphant run in 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She delivered the breathtaking passes, initiated attacks, provided numerous assists, and made bold and clever runs that set Spain above every opponents en route to victory.

Bonmati raked home the award without dispute as her teammates and other lovers of female football backed the midfield sensation to clinch the award.

Bonmati was magnificent for Barcelona Femeni en route to UEFA Women’s Champions League victory. Her most stand out moment was helping the team overturn a 2-0 deficit against Wolfsburg to win the match 3-2.

In FIFA Women’s World Cup, Bonmati recorded her best moment of the tournament when she led Spain to an outstanding 5-1 win over Switzerland. She scored two goals in the match and delivered a brilliant assist to bag the Player of the Match award.

In 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup final against England, the 25-year-old was the most difficult player for the Lionesses. She lorded the midfield over the European giants and constantly trigger attacks with her brilliant passes and clever runs.

The 25-year-old saw the competition from Linda Caicedo of Ecuador and her teammate, Jennifer Hermoso, to clinch the award. She is now the second Spanish and Barcelona player to clinch the after her teammate Alexis Putellas.
