Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has replied to Mamuka Jugeli following the latter’s unsolicited transfer leak on Osimhen, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Mamuka Jugeli, who is an agent to Victor Osimhen’s Napoli teammate, Khivcha Kvaratskhelia, stoked reactions and earned the wrath of Osimhen when made unsolicited transfer remarks on the future of the Nigerian striker.
Jugeli said Osimhen is bent on leaving Napoli for Saudi Arabia at the end of the season despite recently extending his contract with the Neapolitans.
We reported earlier that Osimhen was furious with Mamuka Jugeli, blasting him for the transfer leak and asking him to keep his name out of his mouth.
Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda replies Mamuka Jugeli
Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, also took a swipe at Mamuka Jugeli for his transfer remarks on Osimhen.
Calenda blasted Jugeli for leaving his zone and area to speculate on the future of other players, saying it creates problems and misunderstandings.
“Everyone must look into their own home and have respect for the work of others. It is not correct to talk about the future of other players”.
“This creates misunderstandings and problems as well as unfortunate predictions.”
Calenda added that Jugeli’s comments are unacceptable as they can create problems for his client Victor Osimhen.
“The alleged words of agent Mamuka Jugeli are bad, superficial, and unacceptable”.
“These words create problems for my player Victor Osimhen with Napoli fans without any reason or real of the reality.”
Making reference to the recently signed new contract with Napoli, Calenda dismissed The Saudi link and said that Osimhen is focused on his career with Napoli
“We have just signed a contract renewal and Victor’s only wish, in addition to the Africa Cup of Nations, is to help Napoli. Everything else is rubbish”.
It is understood that Mamuka Jugeli crossed his bounds. Even if he was privy to Victor Osimhen’s transfer plan, disclosing it on the media is a great disservice to the player.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen’s transfer future is on the balance despite recently penning down a new contract with Napoli.
LCSoccerHub understands Napoli slammed a £112m release clause on Osimhen with the new contract. The release could be triggered this January as it was set to be active from January 2024.
This means Napoli will still entertain offers for Osimhen but such offers must be in excess of £100m.
