Real Madrid and German midfield sensation Toni Kroos has finally laid to rest rumors of his imminent return to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Kroos, who is in his 10th season as a Real Madrid player, was linked to a return to Bayern Munich with his Real Madrid contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has been one of the longest-serving players at Real Madrid. He was thrust into the spotlight for his notorious role in the now-defunct Real Madrid ‘Bermuda Triangle’ which comprised of Luka Modric and Casemiro, who is now plying his trade with Manchester United in the Premier League.
Known for his playmaking role, Kroos has enjoyed a successful career trail with Real Madrid since joining the club in 2014. He has made 296 La Liga appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals.
He has won all possible club trophies with the Los Blancos and has been linked to a possible exit from the club with just four months remaining on his contract.
However, it appears the German sensation is not rejoining Bayern Munich.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Toni Kroos revealed he is not returning to Bayern Munich.
“Let me clarify that I will NOT return to Bayern despite links, it’s not gonna happen.”
“I’m always proud when there are links or some manager wants me, but this is not happening.”

Despite turning down a return to Bayern, Kroos is still keeping everyone in the dark as to his future at Real Madrid. He signed a one-year contract extension with the club in 2023 and will run out of the contract in June 2024.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed Toni Kroos is yet to decide on his future but said two options are on the table for the player – a retirement or contract renewal.
“It’s not about titles or money. Toni Kroos just loves playing football”.
“Retirement or signing a new deal? We have to respect whatever Toni Kroos will decide. My idea is a player have to retire at the highest level,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
