Serge Aurier is set to leave the Premier League as Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray have reached an agreement for the player, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Currently on AFCON duty with Cote D’Ivoire national team, the former PSG star will exit the African premier nation team competition to Turkey to play for Galatasaray.
It will be his seventh career stop as a professional footballer after spells with French and English clubs. Serge Aurier started his career with Lens in 2009. He has played for three different French clubs before exiting France to England where he has had spells with Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest.
Aurier have also had a spell with Villarreal in Spain, where he made 19 appearances for the club before joining Nottingham Forest in 2022.
Aurier was set to run out of his contract with Nottingham Forest at the end of the season. The penned down a two-year deal with the Tricky Trees in 2022 and has spent one-and-a-half season with the club.
Playing as a right-back, the 31-year-old has made 31 appearances for Nottingham Forest and was linked to an exit from the club.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray have reached agreement for Aurier. However, details of his contract with the Turkish giants are yet to be disclosed.
The Ivorien makes the list of high-profile Premier League footballers that have been snapped by Galatasaray recently. The Super Lig title hopefuls signed former Crystal Palace star Wilfried Saha last summer as a free agent, including Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech on loan.

Aurier started his career in France with Lens in 2009. He made 64 appearances for the club before joining Toulouse in 2012. At Toulouse, Aurier made 72 appearances for the club, scoring 8 goals.
He attracted interests from Ligue 1 giants PSG and was signed on loan in 2014 before a permanent deal in 2015. Aurier played for two years for PSG before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in England in 2017.
He made 77 appearances for Spurs, scoring 8 goals in his four-year stint with the club. In 2021, Aurier joined Villarreal and left after a season with the club to return to England with a move to Nottingham Forest.
