Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has provided a significant injury update ahead of his team’s clash against Man City in the Premier League this weekend.
Arteta revealed that Bukayo Saka could be available as Arsenal takes a trip to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Another player who is likely to feature for the Gunners on Sunday is Gabriel Magalhaes, and Gabriel Martinelli despite both players being absent at the subsequent training sessions.
Martinelli who sustained a foot injury while on international duty is also an unlikely participant of the upcoming clash, which could potentially be a title decider for both clubs. Although all aforementioned players are yet to train, Arteta believes there is a high chance of a feature.
The Gunners will be looking forward to scooping all 3 points against City, a test they have failed to pass since 2015 when they defeated Man City. However, Arteta is unfazed and feels playing against a top-tier team like Man City would elevate his club’s image in the football world.
