Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he got a text from Chelsea owners after Chelsea suffered a shock Premier League defeat to Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
Cutting a frustrated figure on the touchline, Pochettino watched helplessly as Wolves devoured Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The home side started well with Cole Palmer firing them into the lead in the 19th minute but Wolves clawed their way back into proceedings, equalizing three minutes later and going ahead to take the lead through Axel Disasi’s own goal before the break.
It was thought the Blues would bounce back in the second half but were dealt a heavier blow when Matheus Cunha struck twice in the final 45 to make it 4-1.

Thiago Silva came up clutch for the Blues, scoring a late header to reduce the deficit as it ended in a 10th Premier League loss for the Blues.
Chelsea fans have been calling for the sack of Mauricio Pochettino after the game. There are also speculations Todd Boehly, who has expended £1bn on new signings, could relieve Pochettino of his role should Chelsea continue on their dismal run this season.
Now, the under-pressure gaffer has confirmed he got a text from the club owners after the defeat to Wolves. Pochettino revealed the club’s hierarchy texted him expressing their support and confidence in him despite the loss.
He said;
“I received a very good text after the game against Wolves from the owners. We’re all together in this!”
