Sergio Reguilon is the first name on the exit route from Old Trafford as the January transfer opens, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag signed two key players – Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat – on loan last summer to pluck some loopholes in Manchester United squad.

There have been speculations on the future of the two players at Old Trafford with the January transfer now flung open.
Reguilon and Amrabat have failed to impress since joining the Old Trafford club. They have struggle on the sidelines and have managed limited game time for the club.
Sergio Reguilon has made 9 Premier League, 2 Champions League, and 1 EFL Cup appearance for Manchester United without an assist or a goal. Sofyan Amrabat has struggled with a similar fate with no goal or assist in all his 17 appearances for Manchester United.
It was evident Manchester United are likely to part ways with the duo when their loan deals expire. In the case of Sergio Reguilon, a break clause on his loan deal has been activated, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed United have decided to terminate Sergio Reguilon’s loan deal by activating the release clause.
The report adds United and Reguilon have agreed to part ways as Reguilon wants more playing time – a demand that cannot be met by Erik ten Hag since he has his preferred full-backs back from the sidelines.
Sergio Reguilon will therefore return to Tottenham Hotspur but is expected to be loaned out again this January as Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou does not consider him key to his plans.

While Sergio Reguilon is exiting Manchester United this January, Sofyan Amrabat is expected to run out his season-long loan with Manchester United.
He will be expected to leave the club at the end of the season following a largely underwhelming start to life at Old Trafford.
