The French striker has seen his Manchester United fortunes plummet under Erik ten Hag, no thanks to incessant injury blows that has kept him more on the sidelines than on the field.

In a recent press interview, Erik ten Hag confirmed the club have triggered contract extensions for Hannibal Mejbri, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Victor Lindelof but nothing is yet done with Anthony Martial’s.
However, the Dutch gaffer added contract talks is still ongoing with the French forward, including his country pal Raphael Varane.
According to Transfer Live, Manchester United have decided not extend Anthony Martial’s contract, hence the player is expected to leave this season.

If a deal could be brokered this January, Manchester United stands to cash in on the player or let him leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
