Kylian Mbappe’s representatives have released an official statement amid reports linking Mbappe to an agreement to join Real Madrid, LCSoccerHub Reports.
A report by Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, shared by the Sun, claimed Kylian Mbappe has reached agreement with Real Madrid to join the club on a free transfer.
The report claims Kylian Mbappe yielded to Real Madrid pressure to agree to the move.
Spanish outlet, AS, said Real Madrid reportedly asked Mbappe to take a stand on the club’s interest on him on or before mid-January.
The report adds the La Liga giants threatened to back off from the move should the French attacking sensation refuse to attend to their peremptory demand.
It was thought Mbappe must have bowed to the pressure and opted to reach an agreement with Real Madrid this January.
Now, the 2018 World Cup winner has come out to deny the report.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Kylian Mbappe’s statement, as issued by his representatives, reads;
“There’s NO agreement on Kylian future. There have been no discussions about his future”.
“No type of influence could dictate the timing of Kylian’s discussions, reflections, decisions”.

Mbappe has six months remaining on his PSG contract and is free to enter into contract talks with potential suitors this January.
His statement, putting down rumors of agreement with Real Madrid, has set his transfer future on the balance again.
LCSoccerHub understands Kylian Mbappe is likely to leave PSG at the end of the season as he he is yet to renew his contract.
However, his next destination is unknown with Real Madrid still looming large on the radar.
According to Eurosport, Real Madrid are still tipped as favorites to sign Kylian Mbappe, but they are now set to face a stiff opposition with Liverpool, who are also interested in a move for the player.
Mbappe is said to be a strong admirer of the two clubs but is leaving everybody in the dark on where he will take up a new challenge when he leaves PSG.
