Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed his squad update ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup quarterfinal clash with Manchester United.
The Premier League title hopefuls will travel to Manchester on Sunday, March 17 to take on Manchester United for a place in the last four of the 2024 FA Cup.
Ahead of the tie, Liverpool have been grounded with a recurrent injury crisis that has sidelined most of their first-team stars.
Leading the list of players who recently picked up issues and are a major doubt for the game, are Ibrahim Konate and Gravenberch, including Egyptian ace Mohamed Salah.
Konate and Gravenberch picked up injury issues in Liverpool’s Europa League first-leg clash against Slavia Prague.

Mohamed Salah was sidelined since the 2023 AFCON but has returned with his fitness delicately managed by Liverpool medics. Salah played the two-legged Europa League round-16 tie against Slavia Prague but was placed on a cautionary stool as he continues recovering from his hamstring issue.
With clusters of injuries and recent fitness concerns, the three aforementioned players were doubts for the United game.
However, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed his squad update ahead of the game against Manchester United.
Speaking in post-match press conference, Klopp revealed Mohamed is ready for the United game.
On Ibrahim Konate, the outbound German boss said the French center-back is on a tight race to recover and is likely to miss out after he could not train with the team.
On Ryan Gravenberch, Jurgen Klopp revealed the former Bayern Munich midfielder trained with the team and would be ready to feature, including Mo Salah.
“Mo Salah is definitely ready for the game against Man United.
“Ibou Konaté didn’t train today, will be a tight race which we will probably lose”.
“Gravenberch trained again today so should be ready,” Klopp said.

Klopp is still on the lane to win a quadruple with Liverpool but must scrape pass United in the last 8 of the FA Cup. The Reds are favorites to ace to the tie but the last time they met this season, it ended goalless.
