Manchester City goal poacher and Norwegian attacking sensation Erling Haaland has blasted Manchester United as Jadon Sancho completes his loan exit from the club, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Sancho is set to take a break from his stalled career at Manchester United as he seals a loan move to Dortmund.
Speaking on his inaugural press conference after the move, the English winger revealed he is happy that he will be able to play football again with a smiling face – a sublime reference to his ordeal at Manchester United.
Joining the club for £71m in 2021, Sancho started his career at Old Trafford with a bang. He was phenomenal in the club’s success last season. This season, his Manchester United fortunes took a dive for the worst following his fallout with Erik ten Hag.
In September 2023, Sancho blasted Erik ten Hag publicly for scapegoating him after he was dropped from Manchester United’s Premier League squad against Arsenal.

Reacting to the spat, Erik ten Hag froze him off the squad, and demoted him to the academy team. The 23-year-old struggled in exile before United opted to have him complete this season away from Old Trafford.
Borussia Dortmund expressed concrete interest in the player and after ironing out details of the agreement with Manchester United, a deal was brokered with Sancho returning to the club.
Taking to his social media handle, Sancho shared a post of him donning the colors of Borussia Dortmund and Haaland commented on the post, lauding the player for the move in a subtle shade at Manchester United.
The former Borussia Dortmund forward dropped a one-word comment with a blushing emoji which reads; ‘beautiful.’

Haaland’s comment has since stoked reactions with many insisting he is poking fun at Manchester United for losing the fight to Jadon Sancho after the bust-up with Erik ten Hag.
Haaland is known to be a footballing foe of Manchester United due to his Dad Alfe-Inge Haaland’s history with the club. Alfe-Inge Haaland was reportedly injured in a Manchester derby due to a bad tackle by Man United legend Roy Keane, hence the former Borussia Dortmund forward must have been moved to clap Sancho’s exit in a dig to United for seemingly losing the duel with Sancho.
Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland were teammates at Borussia Dortmund before the pair moved to the Premier League.
