Victor Osimhen has continued on his roaring return to form as he continues banging goals for Napoli in Serie A.
The Nigerian attacking sensation was again on target for the Azzuri as the Neapolitans put Sassuolo to sword at Stadio Città del Tricolore.
The Serie A champions began with an underwhelming performance against the home side and conceded in the 17th minute.
Racic gave Sassuolo the lead after he latched on Traore’s poor clearance of Bajrami’s cutback to fire into the bottom-right corner.

Victor Osimhen began his goalscoing rout a minute after the half hour. Picking a pass from Politano, Osimhen drove home a low shot into the bottom-left corner to make it 2-1.
Four minutes before the break, he scored again for the Neapolitans to extend the lead. Receiving a pass again from Politano, the Chelsea target came one-on-one with Consiglia and then chipped it over the goalkeeper to make it 3-1 before the break.
Two minutes into the second half, Osimhen was on target again for his hat-trick, stroking Kvaratskhelia’s pass into the bottom corner to make it 4-1.
Kvaratskhelia, who assisted Osimhen’s last goal would score in the 51st and 75th minute to make it 6-1 at the final whistle.
It was nother five-star performance by Napoli with Victor Osimhen shinning bright for the club to secure the thumping victory. Osimhen has now scored 5 goals in his first 3 matches for Napoli after 2023 AFCON final heartbreak.
