Darwin Nunez starred for Liverpool as the Reds struck late at City Ground to pick all three points against a hard-fighting Nottingham Forest side in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest nearly fought them to a standstill. Reeling under heavy pressure, the Tricky Trees held on while relying on counterattacks to threaten Liverpool’s defense.
The first half ended barren as Liverpool struggled to find a way through the hosts’ solid defense line.
Nothing changed in the second half. Liverpool continued on their dominant display while Nottingham Forest fell back to defend.
At the regulation time, it was still goalless. Nottingham Forest were looking set to run out with a point but were dealt a big blow just at the stroke of the last minute.
Marc Allister made an unreal interception and floated the ball for Darwin Nunez, who beat Nottingham Forest with his aerial prowess to head home a late winner for the Reds.
Liverpool have now opened a four-point gap on top of the Premier League but have played a game more than Manchester City and Arsenal in second and third place respectively.
