Chelsea settled for a dramatic 2-2 draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium in another disappointing outing for the Blues in the Premier League.

Against the Blues, Thomas Frank was under pressure to overturn the dismal run. And they nearly did the magic with an upbeat performance against the Pochettino-led side.
Chelsea had the better of the hosts in the first half. Nicolas Jackson had a chance to put the visitors ahead but had his first attempt cleared.
The Senegalese forward did not miss it on the second attempt as he positioned well to plant a header on Malo Gusto’s cross to give Chelsea the lead.
The goal was enough to hand Chelsea the lead at the break but it was a difficult game for the away side in the second half.
Brentford improved their performance in the second half and were looking set to nail home the equaliser soon. Five minutes into the second half, they capped their overwhelming display with an equaliser to send the home fans bonkers.
Roerslev scored from close range in the 50th minute to level the score. 19 minutes after Roerslev’s strike, Chelsea stumbled again as Wissa scored a superb overhead kick to put Brentford in front.
Surrendering their one-goal lead to trail 2-1 in a flash, the Blues were teetering on the brink of defeat but they had enough time to overturn the game.
With 7 minutes of regulation time left, Chelsea needed a superb effort by Axel Disasi to peg back Brentford to a 2-2 draw. Positioned unmarked at the back post, Axel Disasi latched on Palmer’s cross and fired it into the back of the net to equalise for the Blues.
It ended 2-2 at the blast of the final whistle as both sides failed to add to the tally.
