Embattled Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has completed a loan move to his former club Borussia Dortmund, LCSoccerHub Reports.
The Camberwell-born English youngster joins Borussia Dortmund on a short-term loan until the end of the season. Borussia Dortmund confirmed the signing of Jadon Sancho in a club statement which reads;
“Borussia Dortmund have signed attacking player Jadon Sancho, 23, on loan until the end of the season. The Englishman, who is currently under contract at Manchester United, this Thursday signed a loan deal until 30 June 2024.”
Reacting to his loan switch to the Bundesliga outfit, Jadon Sancho said he is happy returning to the club and is hoping to play football smiling again.
“I can’t wait to see my team-mates again, get out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, get assists, score goals and help the club qualify for the Champions League,” said Jadon Sancho.

The 23-year-old’s ‘smile again’ comment was apparently an allusion to his career deadlock at Old Trafford since September 2023.
Sancho fell out with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag for being dropped from United squad against Arsenal in the Premier League in September 2023.
In a now-deleted social media rant, the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner blasted Erik ten Hag for subtle favoritism in his dressing room management and unfair treatment.
Known for his hardline and inflexible man-management approach, Erik ten Hag clamped down on Jadon Sancho for his social media rant.
After convening showdown talks with the player, Sancho was frozen out of Manchester United and barred from accessing first-team facilities.
Sources close to the club revealed the English winger was also not ready to blink on his end, hence his Manchester United career was summarily over.
Following the deadlock, an exit solution was the best option for Sancho as he risked rusting his career due to the fallout. Manchester United were equally ready to have him leave the club.

After a round of talks with Manchester United, an agreement was reached for a short-term loan deal with no buy option. Dortmund will foot two-thirds of Jadon Sancho’s £290, weekly wages, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Sancho made 58 league appearances for Manchester United, scoring 9 goals before the fallout. He will hope to return to elite-level performance with Dortmund as he sets for a new challenge with the Bundesliga giants.
