Arsenal delivered a stunning performance to beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, closing the gap on the Premier League leaders to just two points.
The Gunners took the lead in the 13th minute, when Bukayo Saka scored from a rebound after Kai Havertz’s shot was saved by Alisson Becker.
Liverpool equalized in first-half injury time, when Luis Diaz pounced on a defensive error and the ball deflected off Gabriel Magalhaes into his own net.
Arsenal regained the lead in the 66th minute, when Gabriel Martinelli capitalized on another mistake by Alisson, who failed to clear the ball and left an empty net for the Brazilian striker.

Leandro Trossard sealed the win for Arsenal in injury time, when he squeezed in a low shot from a tight angle. The result ended Liverpool’s 15-match unbeaten run in the league and blew the title race wide open.
Arsenal are now second in the table, with 49 points from 23 games, while Liverpool remain top with 51 points from 23 games.
