Sporting CP manager, Ruben Amorim has decided not to drop any comments regarding his Liverpool links. According to various reports, Amorim seems to be rising in ranks as the search for the next Liverpool manager intensifies.
Reuben’s stance is coming after news confirmed that Xabi Alonso won’t be leaving Bayern Leverkusen next summer. Alonso’s decision consequently increases Amorim’s chances of being Klopp’s successor. Despite the fuss this news has generated, the Sporting CP coach has emphasized that his focus remains on winning Primeira Liga with the club.
In a post-match interview, after Sporting defeated Estrela Amadora, Reuben refused to pass any comments when asked questions relating to his Liverpool links but reiterated that his contract at Sporting CP runs all through to 2026 which highlighted that his loyalty is in line with Sporting’s objectives.
