Manchester United are eyeing a sensational triple deal to bring Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan David and Khephren Thuram to Old Trafford this summer, according to Fichajes.
The Spanish outlet claims that the Red Devils’ minority owners INEOS, who are in charge of the football operations, are keen to splash the cash and strengthen the squad with some quality additions.
However, United face some financial constraints due to the FFP rules and their likely failure to qualify for the Champions League next season. Therefore, they are targeting players who will be in the last year of their contracts by the end of this campaign, as they would be cheaper to sign.
Fichajes reports that Kimmich, David and Thuram are among those players, and United could land them this summer if they act fast. The trio are valued at a combined £141m by Transfermarkt, but United could negotiate lower fees as their clubs would risk losing them for free next year.

The report adds that Kimmich and David are not close to renewing their deals with Bayern Munich and Lille respectively, while OGC Nice are ready to sell Thuram, who is the son of former France star Lilian Thuram.
United could use Kimmich as a replacement for Casemiro, who is uncertain about his future at the club, and David as a partner for Rasmus Hojlund, who needs more support upfront.
