The Lioness And Manchester United women goalkeeper Mary Earps has won FIFA Best Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Earps saw off the competition from Mackenzie Arnold of Australia and Catalina Coll of Spain to clinch the award.
Arnold polled 12 points while Coll bagged 14 points to come third and second, respectively on the ranking. Mary Earps bagged the most votes, polling 28 points to emerge the winner of the award.

It is the second time Mary Earps has clinched FIFA Best Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award and the first female goalkeeper to win the award on two consecutive occasions.
The England goalkeeper clinched the award in 2022 and has since seen her career soar to unimaginable heights.
Gallantly bossing the sticks for the Lionesses as their No1 goalkeeper, Earps helped England reach the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, including the Finalissima.
Before clinching FIFA Women’s Best Goalkeeper of the Year, Earps won BBC Sports Personality of the Year. She also bagged best Women Super League Goalkeeper with Manchester United Women’s team. Earps kept 14 clean sheets in 22 Women Super League matches for Manchester United women.

She bagged the Adidas Golden Glove Award in 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup after helping England reach the final of the tournament.
Mary Earps was known for outstanding performances in goal and shootout heroics for England. The most sensational of her performances was against Brazil in Finalissima in which she made a clinical save to deny Brazil’s Tamirez and pave the way for England’s victory.

She also starred for England against Nigeria in the 2023 FIFA World Cup in the knockouts producing astonishing saves to keep the Lionesses in the game.
