Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has been crowned the Premier League manager of the month of December following a bumper Premier League run with the Villans in the month, LCSoccerHub Reports.
Unai Emery saw off the challenge from Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, West Ham’s David Moyes, and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to clinch the award.
Emery’s trademarks at Aston Villa has been mind-blowing. The Villans picked the former Arsenal and Villarreal manager to succeed Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Emery picked up Aston Villa in the drop zone in the Premier League and led the team to European football last season.
This season, the Spaniard has built on his gains. He has made the Villa Park a fortress for the Villains and a nightmare for his opponents. In decades, the Birmingham-based outfit have joined the conversation on the Premier League title challenge this season.

They are second on the Premier League table and have been tipped by pundits to join the title race or possibly book a Champions League slot at the end of the season.
In December, Unai Emery took his prolific run with the Villans to new levels. He recorded six wins in seven matches, including a record back-to-back home victory over Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester City.
Speaking after bagging the award, Unai Emery expressed his happiness winning the award and added that it is important to stay on the winning lanes and also keep on improving their game.
“I’m thankful and very proud of our work,” Emery said. “The most important thing is to be consistent, be demanding, and try to improve every day.”
It is the second time Emery has bagged the prestigious award as Aston Villa manager. He won it in April 2023 towards the end of last season and has now added it again to his kit.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou won the first three editions of the award this season before Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Emery is the third manager to win the award this season and the second Aston Villa to win the award after Martin O’Neil.
