Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been crowned FIFA Best Men’s Coach of the Year, LCSoccerHub Reports.

Pep Guardiola recorded another landmark moment in his heroic career as manager. The Spaniard ended Manchester City’s wait for the Champions League and guided the Citizens to their first-ever treble of FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League trophy.

Guardiola is one of the most decorated and successful football managers in history. He is only second behind Carlo Ancelotti in the number of Champions League wins.

Guardiola guided Manchester City to their third successive Premier League title in a row and has won the English Premier League title five times as Manchester City manager.

The former Barcelona manager made the final three-man shortlist for the award alongside two Italian managers – Luciano Spalletti and Simone Inzaghi.

Spalletti made the cut after leading Napoli to a historic Serie A triumph last season. The Italian football veteran recorded 11 points as per FIFA.com to come third on the ranking.

Simone Inzaghi of Inter Milan came second with 18 points behind Pep Guardiola. Inzaghi recorded an equally prolific domestic and European campaign last season.
